Generally, the Trust intends to make aggregate grants of a minimum of 5% of the Trust’s average net assets per year. If this benchmark is not met in a given year, the Trust may contact donors or advisors & provide them with the opportunity to recommend grants of such amounts so that the DAF account will have made grants totaling at least 5% of its value.
No Requirement
Grants may not be made to any private non-operating foundations, non-functionally integrated Type III supporting organizations, or Type I, Type II, or Type III functionally integrated supporting organizations.
Donors may choose from 3 options of recognition: full disclosure, partial disclosure, & anonymity. Anonymity will not disclose any donor information with the grant and only have information that the gift came from the U.S. Charitable Gift Trust.
